If you're familiar with me, you'll understand that I constantly strive to create beautiful spaces, whether it's through staging, restyling homes, or hosting celebrations. We recently held a celebration at our home, and I'd love to share some images and tips for crafting stunning tablescapes.

The table's styling should align with the party's theme, as it is where guests spend most of their time during the event. Since the celebration was held near the garden area in the midst of summer, there's no better way to embrace the season and the outdoors than by celebrating outside.
We went with a Garden Theme
As the event took place near the garden, we utilized much of the garden's foliage to reduce expenses and make use of the flowers in full bloom. We celebrated both of my sisters and their soon-to-arrive babies, a boy and a girl, which led us to choose neutral colors. We decided on pastels to add color to the spaces, from streamers to balloons. The table runner featured a whimsical Parisian garden party design, which complemented not only the tablescape but also the kitchen island where all the food was displayed.

From tablecloths and linens to table setting supplies like plate chargers, plates, napkins, and cutlery, everything needed to align with the color scheme and theme. The streamer we put up was the most difficult. It literally had us going delirious after 3 hrs and a tangled mess. We made the best out of it and continued styling the streamers in an ombre fashion.
We also acquired small garden baskets for our guests, which we filled with a variety of charcuterie items to complement our garden theme. The centerpieces were crafted using cuttings from our garden, arranged in clear glass vases.

The dishes we offered didn't require heating; we selected an assortment of salads, including pasta and greens. Guests could also choose individually wrapped turkey sandwiches or gourmet machaca burritos.
For dessert, we indulged in lemon cupcakes and a variety of pastries. When planning a celebration, start with a theme and budget, and then let your creativity lead the way.
